2^nd NISHAAN AIR GUN SHOOTING COMPETITION FROM 6th To 9th December 2012

Dear Sir,

It has been decided to hold the 2^nd Nishaan Air Gun Shooting Competition at Nishaan Shooting Range, Bangalore from 6th to 9th December 2012, with the intention of 56^th National Shooting Competition preparations. As per the program attached, Shooters from your Association/Unit are invited to participate in this Competition.

Those competitors who want to participate in this competition are requested to go through the following instructions carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the above competitions.

 

1. The competition will be conducted individually and in team events. There will be no team event in junior category. Teams can be formed by the shooters of the same Association/Unit only. Final entry of three members of the team must be submitted latest by the previous day of the start of the match. Only one team per Association/Unit will be allowed in each event.

 

2. The entries will be accepted through respective Association/Units only. The entry fee should be remitted by Cash/ Bank draft in favour of NISHAAN SPORTS SHOOTING ACADEMY BANGALORE only, Kindly note that cheques will not be accepted. The entry forms duly completed along with entry fee should be sent to this office so as to reach Nishaan office before 2^nd December 2012.​​

 

3. Entry fee is neither refundable nor adjustable or transferable from one match to another.

 

4. Shooters taking part in Rifle event are not allowed to take part in Pistol event or vice versa.

 

5. Last date for sending the entry with normal entry fee is 3rd December 2012. Late entries with three time’s normal entry fee will be accepted up to 6^th December 2012.

 

6. Protest fee is Rs.50/- and in case an appeal is filed with the Jury of Appeal, then the fee is Rs. 150/-. The fee will be returned if the protest is upheld and retained by NSSA if the protest is lost.

 

7. The competition will be conducted according to ISSF rules and regulations.

 

8.      Finals will be conducted in all ISSF events on 9^th December 2012 at 10:00am

9. No arms will be provided to the competitors by NSSA. Ammunition will be made available against payment.

 

10. Those who are below 21 years of age as on 31st December 2012 will be considered as juniors respectively for the Championship. All competitors entering for junior events must attach an attested copy of a certificate of their age proof with their entry forms failing which their applications are liable for rejection.

 

11. The Organizers will have the right to close any match or event in case of any emergency or otherwise without assigning any reason for such an action on their part.

 

12. Individual and Team medals will be awarded as under:-​

 

            I           3 medals where there is a minimum of 4 entries

            II         2 medals where there is a minimum of 3 entries

            III        1 medal where there is a minimum of 2 entries

            IV        No medal in case there is a singly entry
